Congolese-Belgian artist Baloji’s 2nd studio album.
Baloji was born in Lubumbashi, DRC and moved with his father to Ostende, Belgium at the age of three. He MC’ed in Belgian rap group Starflam for several years and then decided to retire from music.
Fortunately for us African music lovers, he then got in touch with his Congolese roots and released two classic albums, combining hip-hop, soukous, and jazz and rhyming in Swahili, Lingala and French to create a unique listening experience that has yet to meet its match. “Kinshasa Succursale” also features supporting appearances from eclectic musician Konono No.1, and the biggest soukous group ever Zaïko Langa Langa.
